Where to buy your Ajax Cape Town, Vasco da Gama and Santos Football Shirts

I have been receiving a lot of queries from readers wanting to know where they can buy the new Ajax Cape Town, Vasco da Gama and Santos football shirts.

I decided to contact each club to see if I could find out some information on this matter as I feel it’s important that we as fans show our true colors by buying a replica kit for one of the Cape Town teams that we support.

It’s still a bit early though with most clubs not having released their 2010-11 kits yet, however I did manage to get some details from both Ajax and Vasco da Gama. Santos did not bother to reply so your guess is as good as mine as to where one can buy their football shirt.

Ajax Cape Town 2010-11 Football Shirt
Ajax are having an official launch for their new shirt, which will be held on the 14th of August at Canal Walk in Cape Town. The shirt will also be available from their Fan Shop at Ikamva, and at the Adidas Concept store in Canal Walk.
You can however expect to see the shirt in most major football shops as they are currently busy with negotiations. All will be revealed at the launch on the 14th which is expected to start at 12AM.

Vasco da Gama 2010-11 Football shirt
The Vasco da Gama football shirt will be launched in mid August, and will be available from the clubhouse in Parow, at the stadiums on match days and in most leading football shops.

This is very professional from the guys at Ajax and Vasco, hopefully Santos will get their act together so that we can get fans in Cape Town kitted out in the colours of our local clubs.

Oh and I have been invited to Ajax’s launch so I will be blogging about it on the 14th of August so stay tuned as I will post more details about availability, design and price once the shirts have been officially unveiled…
